This IEC C14 to C13 cable, allows you to extend the commonly known 'kettle' power cable. They are common on a variety of electrical equipment but especially PCs, servers and monitors. They ar.... also the standard output power cable used on Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS) and in this case would replace the standard main cable of the device they are powering rather than extend it. They can be used within rack cabinets when connecting servers to the UPS device. Most electrical appliances are supplied with a 5m main cable and therefore these provide significant extra length when situating the device / appliance further away from its power source.
